Parent Volunteers.

Can you spare an hour (or two) each week of fortnight? We are looking for parent volunteers. If any parent (or grandparent) feels that they would like to come into school and help in classes in any capacity (listening to readers, practise spellings/tables, mount pictures, bake, offer a craft, sew, photocopy resources organise equipment or anything else you mat have a talent for) we would love to encourage you, come along and offer your skills and play an even greater part in your child’s education. You may want to work in your child’s class, other classes in school, or generally helping out with day to day tasks that help the school run smoothly. If you do feel able to offer your support tell the teachers or call in to see Mr. Wild after school any evening. Your help will be very much appreciated.

Could I also remind you that the school is a training centre for the European Computer Driving Licence. This is a very worthwhile qualification to have and one that we can offer free to our parents. The disks are in school and you work at your own pace through the modules. Testing is done at the school and again is free of charge.
This course could cost upwards of £80 elsewhere, you could get it Free!
Contact the school or Mr. P. Hill for further details.

Hope to see some of you over the next few weeks.

Yours sincerely,

A. Littlehales
Headteacher
